Aliz is a registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
Aliz Ovlachi gained her BA Degree in Psychology at the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 2000. She completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at The University of Pecs in Hungary in 2007.
Aliz has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career. Initially, she worked as a Clinical Psychologist in Hungary, both at a public health service and in her own private practice, where she conducted various psychological assessments and psychological treatments for a range of different mental health conditions/presentations.
After relocating to Australia she pursued further studies in Alcohol and Other Drugs and has started co-facilitating Dialectical Behavioural Therapy groups in Melbourne.
Most recently, Aliz has been working as an Alcohol and Other Drug clinician within a large public health service in Melbourne, both with voluntary and mandated clients.
Aliz is also the founder and principal psychologist of the Melbourne Substance Use and Psychology Clinic (MSUPC).
